Hydrock has unique and extensive expertise in the stabilisation of mine workings from both above and below ground.
Past mining has left many abandoned mine workings which are either likely to collapse and threaten life and property, or pose construction problems on sites destined for development. Hydrock's team of around 200 miners and mining engineers has an excellent track record in the management and execution of mine stabilisation projects and a reputation for innovative problem solving in an inhospitable and potentially dangerous environment.
Often working within residential areas and on projects with multiple stakeholders, Hydrock's personnel are frequently commended for their sensitive dealings with all parties concerned. We have a company wide commitment to upholding the strictest health and safety practices generally and are used to working under the MASHAM regulations.
