Site Description: An ever changing urban landscape has seen many petrol filling stations become available for redevelopment, more often than not for residential use. Through extensive experience of such sites, which can only accommodate a relatively small number of units, the Hydrock team understands the fine balance that is required to ensure that the site is environmentally and legislatively compliant whilst remaining commercially viable for developers.

Outcome: By carrying out an appropriate groundwater and Human Health Risk Assessment, and with close liaison with the regulators, we can often establish and agree site specific remedial targets which mean that the amount of material being moved off site can be greatly reduced. By using methods beyond traditional remedial techniques we can greatly increase a site's commercial viability.
