Client: Her Majesty's Prison Service
Project: The Verne, Isle of Portland

Site Description: The integrity of retaining walls along side the only access road to the prison had been compromised by bulging, spalling, poor quality repairs and vegetation growth.

Services Provided: Reinterpretation of existing data, design of innovative temporary works and design of ground anchor solution to stabilise the retaining walls.

Outcome: A Health and Safety compliant scheme, completed ahead of the original programme and within budget without the necessity to close the road.
