Project: Showcase Bus Route

Site Description: Hydrock Byways & Highways was commissioned to validate the designs produced for Bristol City Council's Showcase Bus Route scheme, and to produce a Traffic Regulation Order, with associated Bus and Cycle Lane Orders.

Services Provided: Transportation Engineering Consultancy, Traffic Regulation Order services, AutoCAD design

Outcome: Since the first Showcase Bus Routes were launched, Bristol City Council has reported an increase in use of the public transport system, a reduction in car numbers and an improvement in bus journey times.
