Client: Interserve (Defence)
Project: Jetts Battle Laboratory, Warminster, Wiltshire

Site Description: The MoD's requirement was for a single storey structure to house their leading edge IT battle laboratory and office complex.

Services Provided: Architectural, Design, Civil and Structural Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical, Design, Flexible Work Space.

Outcome: The design reflected the hi-tech nature of the building purpose with an exoskeletal frame, a brick clad, steel frame super structure, mass concrete foundations, a raised heavy duty floor system and a standing seamed steel roof. A light and airy open-plan space, with exposed mechanical services, was created internally to locate the computer systems. More traditional cellular offices were also included. An access road, car park and drainage services were also part of the design package.
