Project: Shard End, Birmingham

Site Description: A former petrol station where deep release of hydrocarbons had caused soil and groundwater contamination on a site designated for a community centre with a basement construction.

Services Provided: Human Health Risk Assessments, Liaison with regulators to establish remedial target values, remediation strategy and validation report.

Outcome: Close liaison with regulators led to commercially viable remedial targets being set.
