Site Description: A proposed development for a new retirement village on the edge of Bideford had been refused by Torridge District Council's planning committee on transport and highway safety grounds. Hydrock Byways & Highways was commissioned to act as Expert Witness at a Public Inquiry, to defend the decision not to grant planning permission.

Outcome: Hydrock Byways & Highways' testimony as expert witness led to the appeal being dismissed and the decision not to grant planning permission was successfully defended.
