Ben Stanton Director, Building Performance Engineering

Ben joined Hydrock in 2021 and leads our delivery of mechanical and electrical engineering services to clients across the Midlands as part of our UK-wide Building Performance Engineering business.

As a qualified electrical and mechanical engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the delivery of building services, including running his own consultancy for 15 years, Ben has led a wide range of projects across the UK, from small-scale works to multi-million-pound developments.

He has a particular focus on low carbon solutions, building physics and a very specific background in working on industrial process plants which has given him a notable insight into the priorities of these organisations when undertaking programmes of building work.

His career track record includes working on Vodafone stores UK-wide, acting for NHS Trusts, working on Stoke City Football Club’s stadium and training facility, and on a variety of industrial facilities within Morrisons supply chain. Formerly with the Royal Navy, Ben is an accredited member of both the IET and IMechE.
