Blaise has a range of engineering and research experience spanning 11 years and multiple cities around Europe. His early career was in aviation component quality control, and he has spent much of the past ten years researching in renewable energy and the environment. Blaise has a strong focus on energy and emissions modelling.
He has been involved in a diversity of projects including thermal simulation of a HVAC control strategy based on the occupancy of an airport departure gate, assessments of industrial waste heat recovery and utilising microsimulation software to develop improved signal timings to reduce vehicle emissions.
Blaise leads the Air Quality team at Hydrock, which specialises in ADMS dispersion modelling and monitoring of combustion emissions for planning applications. This team also has a strong focus on innovative and state of the art mitigation strategies.
