Based in London, Charlotte is an experienced member of our Smart Energy & Sustainability team with a background in sustainability and pre-planning.

Charlotte specialises in the delivery of early-stage energy and sustainability statements to support clients in the planning process. She is experienced in delivering wind and microclimate statements, daylight and sunlight assessments and embodied carbon and whole-life cycle carbon assessments.

A regular commentator on emerging policy requirements, especially relating to the London Plan and its impact on the London boroughs, Charlotte supports clients with the development of strategies to meet both adopted and emerging policy in a commercially viable way.

With Hydrock, Charlotte has advised on: Hunts Wharf, a residential development in Hackney; a multi-phase mixed-use regeneration scheme in Stonebridge for the London Borough of Brent; the initial successful planning application for Points Cross in Leeds; and Castle Park View, a 26-storey PRS scheme in Bristol. Her career track record includes the site-wide energy and sustainability masterplan for the Barking Riverside development, a new 10,000 home development.

Charlotte is a key member of our team that won an international RIBA competition to shape a strategy for sustainable design, climate adaptation and wellbeing on a town centre regeneration scheme in Mansfield in the East Midlands.
