Chris is a Chartered Engineer with over 13 years of experience and joined Hydrock in 2015. He has considerable experience in the design and delivery of low-energy building services for a range of buildings in the commercial, industrial, residential, heritage and public sectors.
Having worked across the UK and internationally, Chris has led the design development of projects from concept through to construction and operation, providing innovative solutions that meet the aspirations of all the stakeholders involved in the project.
His approach to building services design is to remove the expectations of complex service requirements and instead to provide simple, considered solutions, minimising the environmental impact while supporting the capital and operational investment requirements of his clients, ensuring they are aware of all design implications.
Chris is a member of CIBSE and regularly lectures to students within the Engineering and Design faculty at the University of Bath and critiques project work for third year and final year students.
