With a Civil Engineering undergraduate degree from Bristol University and an MSc in Architectural Engineering from the University of Bath, Chris has a diverse understanding of the built environment with skills in multiple disciplines which go beyond mechanical and electrical engineering.
He is now a key member of our Smart Energy team, focusing on delivering sustainable energy to sites and understanding clients’ energy needs across projects and beyond.
Having worked within the MEP design team at Hydrock for over six years, Chris has gained valuable experience across multiple sectors and successfully delivered design packages for a variety of building types, ranging from concept to detailed design. A specialist in building physics and energy, Chris’ previous projects have seen him deliver design simulation, thermal modelling, and meet an array of sustainability credentials.
Chris has a passion for sustainable design and building occupant wellbeing, ensuring that the needs of building users are met whilst minimising energy and generating as little carbon as possible. As part of his Smart Energy remit, Chris leads our carbon management and energy efficiency service, helping clients understand how to meet net zero aspirations.
