As a specialist in land quality, Danny has worked on projects across a wide range of sectors including transportation, waste, energy, residential, commercial and industrial.
He has had lead roles on some of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects, including leading the geo-environmental input into Europe's largest waste contract in Greater Manchester; acting as lead contamination specialist on the Mersey Gateway Project; and acting as land quality technical lead on HS2 London-Birmingham. In addition, he has also delivered ground investigation reports at a number of airports across the UK. This range of experience has enabled Danny to build strong relationships with developers, local authorities, contractors and regulatory bodies across both the north-west region and the UK.
Danny is an assessor for the SiLC accreditation scheme; was formerly a member of the Environment Agency NW Environment Protection Advisory Committee; is chair of the National Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) Contaminated Land Network Steering Group; and is a ‘Qualified Person’ for the review of Materials Management Plans developed in accordance with the CL:AIRE Definition of Waste Code of Practice.
