Based in Southampton, and with almost 20 years’ experience, Emily joined Hydrock in 2019 to lead the growth and delivery of our transport planning business on the south coast and across Hampshire and the southern counties.
Emily specialises in advising clients on the feasibility of proposed development sites from a transport planning perspective. In particular, she looks at accessibility and sustainability issues, supporting the process through to planning. She delivers the technical assessments that support site promotion through the development plan process, evidencing that a site is suitable for allocation in a Local Plan. Much of Emily’s work involves the delivery of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, modelling assessments and public consultations for a variety of development schemes.
Emily has particular experience in the residential, retail, leisure, health and education sectors. Her career track record includes Barnfield Retail Park near Chichester for Brookhouse Group, the store opening programme for GO Outdoors, an expansion programme for schools in Kingston upon Thames and numerous small to medium sized residential developments for clients including Taylor Wimpey, Redrow Homes, Wates and Thakeham Homes.
