Jason has over 16 years’ experience of civil and structural engineering design and project management on a wide range of projects.
Having joined Hydrock in 2017, he manages a team of 20 technical staff in our Bristol office and is responsible for design quality and delivery of projects for key clients.
With both UK and international project delivery experience, Jason has experience across many sectors including aviation, education, commercial, logistics and distribution, conservation/heritage, industrial, residential, later living, nuclear, rail and defence. Projects have ranged from refurbishment of existing structures to complex new builds including the management of multiple disciplines across the design team, utilising both internal resources and specialist sub-contractors. Career highlights include working on Birmingham New Street Station, the Doha Metro Gold Line and Hinkley Point C.
Jason is well-versed in the use of building materials, such as steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures to the British, European, Saudi Arabia and American Codes of Practice. He has gained site experience through working as a resident site engineer on a variety of construction projects, allowing him to bring practical site experience to the design office and develop strong lead design capability.
