Josh is a dynamic engineer and experienced manager who now leads our Smart Energy team.
His approach to Smart Energy focuses on optimising commercial value through establishment of tradeable assets, creation of resilient power supplies, overcoming capacity constraints and meeting decarbonisation goals through deployment of renewable technologies.
A specialist in building physics and energy, Josh brings a rounded experience to the team through his understanding of environmental design, in addition to project drivers and wider legislative requirements. He has led on strategy development to meet the requirements of evolving policy and regulation on sustainability.
Josh has significant experience working across sectors and has successfully delivered design packages and strategies for a variety of developments. Josh has particular experience in low carbon developments, masterplanning and energy/sustainability strategies.
In 2019, Josh was appoint to Bristol's Advisory Committee on Climate Change. This is a three-year appointment which will determine how the city achieves it's 2030 carbon neutral ambition, One City Plan and climate strategy.
