We have a robust approach to Health and Safety and ensure that all employees, regardless of function, have regular training appropriate to their role.
We also invest in individuals’ personal skills development and management capability through a structured and progressive Development Programme, aligned with Institute of Leadership and Management standards.
Our programme starts with a five day Personal Effectiveness Programme that all graduates attend within the first few months of joining Hydrock. Our programme then proceeds through Personal and Management Development courses at different career stages and culminates with the Strategic Leadership Programme for our Directors.
Each of these provide stimulating and challenging learning opportunities for our future managers and leaders.
Hydrock has supported a number of employees to attain degrees and further educational qualifications. We are an accredited provider of training under agreement with the Institute of Civil Engineers and many of our employees have gained Chartered Engineer or Chartered Geologist status with the company’s support.
We will help you to achieve the highest levels of accreditation in relevant professional bodies including, for example, the Royal Geological Society, Institute of Civil Engineers, Institute of Structural Engineers, the Chartered
Institution of Water and Environmental Management, Institute of Safety and Health and the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants.
