With major monitoring contracts with Local Authorities, music events, motor racing circuits and construction contractors, we have an exciting opportunity for an equipment coordinator to join our growing environmental monitoring team.

Position Overview:

This is a full-time role based at our facilities in Almondsbury, Bristol, where you will take on the role of equipment coordinator with duties including the preparation and decommissioning of monitoring equipment, arranging site visits, management of equipment inventories, managing servicing and calibration requirements, performing remote system checks, and providing technical support.

Full comprehensive training will be given.

Your role will include:

  • Management of our environmental noise, vibration and air quality monitoring equipment fleet including responsibility for our equipment inventories (stock, calibration, and servicing schedules).
  • Management of company vehicles (vehicle checks, servicing, MOT) used by our field engineers.
  • Co-ordination, and scheduling of site visits for our field engineering team.
  • Daily system checks to ensure all environmental monitoring units are operating as per project requirements.
  • Preparation, testing and demobilisation of monitoring equipment.
  • Fulfilling equipment requisitions.
  • Project administration support to our environmental monitoring team.
  • Maintain and housekeeping of our stores and equipment to a high "road ready" standard.
  • Support with site work across our monitoring portfolio.
  • Liaise with equipment suppliers, clients, and colleagues to facilitate the delivery of projects.

Essential requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms to staff at all levels within the company and with external stakeholders and organisations, while maintaining confidentiality of information.
  • Accurate administrative skills and strong organisational skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Work in a safe manner and always observe health & safety procedures.
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office and other associated software (training given).
  • A dynamic and positive approach to work and comfortable multi-tasking under pressure.
  • Administrative experience gained within either the events or hire management industry would be advantageous.
  • Friendly, sensible, and well-mannered with a good sense of humour.
  • Full UK manual driving licence.
  • Ability to be flexible in working times and locations.
