 We have an excellent opportunity for an Experienced Graduate Civil Engineer to join our experienced Civil & Structural Engineering team in Bristol

You’ll work alongside our structural engineers to deliver civil engineering on an exceptional portfolio of projects ranging in value from £1m to £50m.  

Hydrock will offer you the opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile projects that are engaging and help develop your existing skillset portfolio. You will also gain experience by working collaboratively with our senior engineers and learn from their expertise as well as alongside our other thriving Hydrock multi-disciplines.

If you are a graduate engineer with 1-2 years experience within civil engineering or a recent graduate with an industrial year completed, this is brilliant chance to further your career.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Scheme development.
  • Preliminary and detailed designs and project coordination.
  • Design and site meetings, site inspections and progress reporting.

What skills and attributes are we looking for?

  • A strong BEng/ MEng in Civil Engineering.
  • 1 – 2 years experience or a fresh graduate with industry-placement experience.
  • High motivation for this specific opportunity.
  • Self-motivated team player with exceptional people skills.
  • Ability to work under own initiative while fully co-ordinating with line manager’s requirements. 
  • Ideally some relevant post graduate industry experience, though this is not essential.
  • Knowledge of software tools e.g. AutoCAD, WinDES, PDS, Civil 3D, desirable but not essential.
  • Believes in our ethos.
