We have a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our MEP team in our London office. 

Working in our brand-new Southwark office (close to London Bridge station), you will be joining a fun, highly engaged team of building services design engineering professionals and have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects. 

The MEP Team: 

We excel in delivering MEP engineering design services from project inception to construction completion, emphasizing early involvement, collaboration with the design team and tailored solutions. We serve a wide range of sectors including commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage and residential, for end-user clients, investors, developers, architects, project managers or engineer-led teams. Responsibilities of the role:

  • To work with other team members to deliver a range of projects
  • To be the discipline lead for projects
  • Be Client facing and represent the company
  • To deliver technically correct solutions on time and within budget
  • To be an ambassador for the company  to attract new and repeat clients
  • To identify opportunities for other disciplines to become involved in projects
  • To deliver calculations, data sheets, drawings and specifications to enable contractors to tender for works
  • To develop relationships with Clients, project managers and architects
  • Be a great team player and encourage younger members of the team

You’ll be set up for success if you have: 

  • Proven experience working as a Principal Electrical Engineer (or Senior looking to take on their first Principal role) with a strong track record working in the UK on a range of mainstream building services projects. 
  • Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification at HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters. 
  • An articulate communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills. 
  • Sound knowledge of BIM processes, Revit and IES/Amtech. 
  • Ideally a Chartered Engineer or working towards full membership with a relevant institution.
