We have an excellent opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Partner (12 month fixed-term maternity cover contract) to join our high performing Talent Acquisition team, based in Leeds. This is a fantastic role for an experienced in-house talent acquisition partner or someone with a proven track record in an external agency and looking for their first in-house position. 

With responsibility for sourcing the future workforce within our exceptional engineering consultancy, this is a brilliant opportunity to contribute to Hydrock’s growing success.

You will also take ownership of continuous improvement projects such as employer branding, market research/insight, diversity, equality and inclusion and our methods for attracting candidates.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing and delivering on a portfolio of vacancies across all of Hydrock’s disciplines and locations
  • Full ownership of vacancies from qualifying the need, to drafting adverts, pre-screening, offer negotiation and resignation process 
  • Identify, escalate and manage risks and opportunities throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal stakeholders through timely and effective communication
  • Delivering an exceptional candidate experience
  • Being a Hydrock ambassador! We would like someone who is passionate about our values, can represent our business and be able to describe what each candidate’s career at Hydrock will look like
  • Contributing to projects to improve talent acquisition at Hydrock

You will be set up for success if you:

  • Are an experienced talent acquisition partner/recruiter. Built environment experience would be ideal but we are open to different technical industry experience 
  • Have excellent headhunting, sourcing and candidate attraction skills
  • Are proficient in the use of LinkedIn Recruiter to search, advertise and source candidates
  • Have well-practiced skills in advertising, pre-screening candidates and managing the full recruitment process
  • Have the ability to build excellent relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders 
  • Can demonstrate strong IT skills and an ability to problem solve and find solutions to the challenges associated with the role
  • Are highly organised and able to manage processes and projects efficiently 
  • Have the awareness and diligence required to spot risks so we can respond effectively
  • Take pride in, and ownership of, the work you do
  • Are energised and inspired by who we are at Hydrock
