Under the banner of Manchester at MIPIM, Hydrock is sending four members of our team to Cannes in March to network and socialise, talking everything from development feasibility to placemaking, to rowing and brewing.
Representing Hydrock will be:
- Danny Hope, Regional Director based in Manchester, assessing development site viability across northern England.
- Jon Bird, Director based in Birmingham, designing high performing buildings in Manchester, across the Midlands and in the south-east.
- Paul Shelley, Regional Director based in London, assessing development site viability across southern England.
- James McKechnie, Transportation Director, based in the south-west, leading our national transportation team to deliver movement and placemaking strategies.
Meet the team at MIPIM to discover who has rowed at the World Masters regatta, who is the fell runner, who owns a brewery in Kent, and who ran and walked 2,280 miles in 2018.
Speaking about Hydrock’s attendance, Matt Hilton, Hydrock’s Managing Director, said: “We’re really excited to return to MIPIM to join the discussion on the opportunities that exist in the UK property market.
“Our decision to renew our association with the city of Manchester at MIPIM was an easy choice to make. The continuing development of our business in northern England, from our base in Manchester city centre, is a key strategic goal for Hydrock while the opportunities identified by the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework illustrate perfectly the vibrancy of the region."
"We’ve already diarised a number of meetings with key partners while we’re at MIPIM because our approach to delivering multi-disciplinary pre-planning services, in particular, is proving to be very well received by architects, planners and developers, looking to ensure all the crucial engineering questions have been answered before a scheme moves forward."
Joining Hydrock as part of the Manchester at MIPIM delegation are organisations that include Bruntwood, Turner and Townsend, GL Hearn, Shoosmiths, SimpsonHaugh, Deloitte, JLL, AHR, Turley, Stride Treglown, Savills, RLB and John Sisk & Son.
