Under the banner of Manchester at MIPIM, Hydrock is sending four members of our team to Cannes in March to network and socialise, talking everything from development feasibility to building performance design, to fell running and brewing.
Representing Hydrock will be:
- Danny Hope, Technical Director based in Manchester, assessing development site viability across northern England.
- Rich McWilliam, Technical Director based in Manchester, designing high performing buildings across the UK.
- Paul Shelley, Project Director based in London, assessing development site viability across southern England.
- Kevin McKeown, Associate, based in Bristol, leading our national fire engineering capability.
Meet the team at MIPIM to discover, who is the former professional footballer, who is the fell runner, who owns a brewery in Kent, and who is the frustrated Hull City fan!
Speaking about Hydrock’s attendance, Matt Hilton, Managing Director of Hydrock’s consultancy business, said: “We’re really excited to join the discussion on the opportunities that exist in the UK property market. Our multi-disciplinary pre-planning services, in particular, are proving to be very well received by architects, planners and developers, looking to ensure all the crucial engineering questions have been answered before a scheme moves forward. We’ve already diarised a number of meetings with key partners to discuss this while we’re at MIPIM.
“Our decision to be an Associate supporter of Manchester at MIPIM was an easy choice to make. Of the cities exhibiting, Manchester’s delegation is second only to London in size which reflects the importance of this location in which we are proud to now have a well-established office.”
On Wednesday, 14th March, Hydrock is inviting friends and partners to join us at the official MIPIM run at 7am outside the Radisson Blu 1835 hotel. You’ll need to officially register on the Tough Guide to MIPIM website, but welcoming you will be our very own triple JLL Property Tri North champion, Danny Hope, to help put you through your paces!
Joining Hydrock as part of the Manchester at MIPIM delegation are organisations that include John Sisk & Son, Bruntwood, 5plus Architects, Turner and Townsend, JLL, Stride Treglown and Logik Developments, whose high profile director is former England cricket ace, Andrew Flintoff.
