Building Performance Engineer, Hannah Jane, has achieved WELL Accredited Professional status, enabling her to support our design teams through the WELL certification process. The accreditation boosts Hydrock’s environmental assessment methods and sustainability expertise, including BREEAM Assessors and Passivhaus Certified Designers.
WELL is the first standard of its kind to focus solely on the health and wellness of building occupants, and is being increasingly sought after by architects and developers.
The Standard is formed of seven different concepts: air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind. Set up by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), it has been designed to work harmoniously with other leading global green building standards such as LEED Green Building Rating System and BREEAM. The standard identifies 100 performance metrics, design strategies and policies that can be implemented by the owners, designers, engineers, contractors, users and operators of a building.
The credential validates not only Hannah’s competency with the WELL Building Standard but also her knowledge of human health and wellness in the built environment.
