Hydrock appointed to support Stockport College campus development

3rd May 2018

Hydrock’s Manchester-based Building Performance Engineering team has been appointed to deliver M&E engineering design services and to act as the BREEAM assessor in support of a £15m campus development for Stockport College.

With funding now secured for this expansion, Hydrock is working alongside project managers, RLB, Project 3 Architects, and structural and civil engineers, Renaissance, on this important development of a new college campus in Stockport town centre.

Stockport College has recently confirmed the completion of its merger with Trafford College. Whilst maintaining their existing names and campus sites, the newly created Trafford College Group will support the success of over 14,000 students and apprentices, 700 staff and a combined turnover of £37m.

This specific development proposal for Stockport College will support the future of post-16 professional, vocational and technical skills provision in the area.
