As an experienced structural engineer with over 20 years’ track record working on major national and international projects, Alex advises London-based clients in particular, as part of our multi-disciplinary engineering design team.

Frequently taking the role of Project Director, Alex takes responsibility for leading structural and civil engineering teams through every stage of a project, from concept to completion on site. He also manages multi-disciplinary delivery teams and his sector experience includes commercial, residential, stadia, education and aviation.

Alex is renowned for developing innovative engineering solutions in live environments and has a keen interest in the re-use of buildings to reduce the carbon impact associated with demolition and new build design and construction.

Alex’s career track record includes Millharbour in London Docklands – two residential towers with podium bases and a shared basement; Battersea Power Station Phase 3; Millbrook Park, North London – a variety of multi-storey apartment blocks and basement car parking across some of the phases; Olympic Stadium Transformation, Lea Valley. Internationally, his projects include Msheireb Downtown Doha, Phases 2 & 3 in Qatar; Dallas Fort Worth Alliance Airport in Texas and the FC Cincinnati Stadium.
