Jerry King

With an outstanding track record in innovative and sustainable structural engineering design, Jerry is valued hugely by both our clients and early-career professionals within Hydrock for his knowledge and inspiring ideas.

Having led Structures One in Bristol, prior to acquisition by Hydrock in 2008, Jerry subsequently built up our national civil and structural engineering business and now takes a technical advisory role within this highly-regarded team.

His expertise lies in all aspects of design and project management with experience in feasibility, scheme and detailed design of structures in the aviation, industrial, education, commercial, residential, retail and leisure, energy and heritage sectors.

Architects and contractors alike know Jerry for his ‘hands-on’ approach to unlock complex and challenging projects with innovative and commercially-based structural solutions. He has a wealth of design knowledge in all structural materials – from green oak and cross laminated timber to high strength concrete solutions, tensile structures and innovative foundation solutions. He uses this experience to drive efficiencies throughout our projects ensuring we deliver cost effective designs for all of our clients.
