Based in London, Michael leads our MEP team across the UK. He has over 20 years’ experience working on major developments across London, the Home Counties and internationally.

Influential from the earliest conceptual stage of a project, Michael advocates and designs to a low energy and zero carbon philosophy. Experienced in creating effective multi-disciplinary design delivery teams, he has deep sector experience in commercial, energy, public sector, retail and education projects.

Michael’s career includes advising Transport for London (TfL), Hewlett Packard, Development Securities (U+I), Imperial College London and Tesco.

Leading the MEP design for three of the buildings that made up the Quadrant Masterplan, a major transformation project for The Crown Estate next to Piccadilly Circus, London, he was part of the team that won Sustainable Project of the Year at the Building awards in 2016 for 7 Air Street.

Other career highlights include laboratory, research, teaching and student accommodation projects for Imperial College London; energy, sustainability and data centre projects for the Wellcome Trust at their Genome Campus; the Old War Office redevelopment to create Raffles-branded residences and a luxury hotel; and zero carbon schools for Surrey County Council and the Diocese of Westminster.
