Based in London, Michael is an experienced mechanical engineer designing and delivering building service solutions that are both energy efficient and sustainable.

With international experience, and a track record that includes architectural competitions, Michael is a LEED accredited professional and a CIBSE low carbon consultant. These accreditations demonstrate Michael’s deep understanding of the building regulations and how to interpret them in the delivery of highly sustainable and low to zero carbon solutions for the built environment. Michael is also a heat networks consultant (HNC) reflecting his keen interest in this developing sector, and his familiarity with evolving best practice.

Michael has particular experience in the retail, education, residential, offices and cultural sectors.

His career track record includes the engineering design in support of a successful architectural competition entry to design JPMorgan Chase’s new 2.5 million sq ft headquarters at 270 Park Avenue in New York. Michael was also part of the team that took the Lusail Towers in Qatar from concept to schematic design, in addition to advising Apple on their retail stores on Regent Street, London and at Dubai Mall. At Hydrock, Michael has been instrumental to the services design for the successful planning application on Apex 1 in Nine Elms.
