Simon leads our specialist Water Environment team, supporting public and private sector clients to achieve sustainable outcomes to water management issues, protecting the natural and built environment simultaneously.

He has vast experience in preparing flood risk assessments, environmental statement water resource chapters, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, drainage assessments, drainage strategies, flood alleviation schemes and geographical information systems.

Simon specialises in helping to unlock complex sites to enable both residential and commercial development to go ahead. This has included preparing detailed hydrological and hydraulic modelling; acting as expert witness during appeals; demonstrating site accordance with policy to unlock planning permission; masterplan development and general risk analysis.

He is a chartered member of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and a member of the British Hydrological Society and a Chartered Member of the Science Council.
