Tim is a chartered civil and structural engineer with UK and international experience in the design, detailing and construction of a wide range of projects.
Tim has experience across many sectors including residential, heritage, leisure, and commercial, and he has particular specialist expertise in the design of tall towers.
His career track record includes being the structural design leader for One Nine Elms, the 60-storey residential scheme in Vauxhall, London, and reviewing and influencing the design from RIBA Stage C of the 60-storey Wood Wharf Tower A1 in Canary Wharf. Internationally, Tim was the design team lead on the 15-storey Shangri-La hotel in Kowloon, Hong Kong, and the design manager for the concrete design part of the terminal building for the new Abu Dhabi International Airport.
A strong advocate of sustainable design and 'design for manufacture and assembly', Tim is responsible for the design quality and delivery of some of our most prestigious projects including our work on the Zeal Hotel in Exeter, the first net-zero hotel, our work on the Emily Estate, and our work with clients including LifeStory and City & Country.
