Our specialist Hydrock MRB team worked with Evans Property Group and GMI Construction on the rapid development of Fradley 432, a 431,500 sq ft logistics facility at Fradley Park near Lichfield in Staffordshire. The new build project was completed in February 2020, less than 12-months after construction began.
Evans Property Group developed the site in a deal that saw it purchased by AEW, one of the world’s largest real estate managers.
We developed the MEP Employer’s Requirements and acted as BREEAM and Energy Assessor for the single-sided warehouse which has a 100m yard with a clear haunch height of 15m and is built to achieve an EPC ‘A’ rating with electric charging points and a rainwater harvesting system. In advising on the utilities we also project managed a significant off-site infrastructure upgrade to deliver a high-voltage power supply to the site.
Fradley 432 is part of AEW’s £258m develop-to-core UK logistics venture with Allianz. Fradley Park is an established location for warehousing distribution organisations.
