Mark joined Hydrock, now Stantec in 2025 to lead our façade consultancy team in the UK. He is a Chartered Engineer, with over a decade of experience both in consultancy and working for specialist sub-contractors in bid management.

His experience is based on high-rise and complex buildings. In particular, he has specialist knowledge of unitised curtain walling and how the system can be utilised across several project types.

Mark’s key expertise lies within the specification of the façade systems, ensuring compliant and visually appealing façades can be built within project constraints. Mark has extensive knowledge of the tendering process, from various perspectives and has conducted many successful pre-construction services agreements (PCSA).

He collaborates closely with other disciplines to coordinate the technical aspects of the façade system to ensure a functionally compliant, financially viable and sustainable building envelope can be successfully built on time.

Throughout his career, Mark has contributed to prominent projects such as London Wall Place; Royal Atlantis in Dubai; MP3 H5, part of an 800-home development in Elephant Park, London; 2 Grand Canal Quay in Dublin; and Soho Place, two distinctive 10-storey mixed use developments in central London.

Mark is a Member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and a Member of the Society of Façade Engineering.
