Neil leads our delivery resource and approach to helping clients demonstrate their compliance with the Building Safety Act, and the implementation of the ‘digital golden thread’ of information on built assets.

He has deep experience of design and process management on major construction projects having worked for leading main contractors, including most recently Willmott Dixon.

London-based, his career experience includes traditionally procured, design and build and two-stage schemes. Responsible for the design management throughout a project’s lifecycle, he has led information management teams, advised at pre-construction stage to appoint consultancy teams, managed tender processes, and overseen change control to projects and the resulting commercial requirements.

Neil’s sector experience includes healthcare, higher education, commercial, residential, social housing, industrial and mixed-use schemes. Career highlights include the design management process on Barts Square, a mixed-use development by Helical Bar in Smithfield, and refurbishment of a Grade II* listed cinema into a multi-purpose entertainment venue in East London.

With his process management, resource management and information management experience, Neil leads our approach to supporting clients to meet and exceed the requirements of the ‘Gateway’ processes under the Building Safety Act.

Working closely with our UK-wide team of fire, MEP and structural engineers, he leads our digital safety team that is ensuring our clients and the industry as a whole embrace a major culture shift around the ethics, responsibility and competence to the way buildings are designed, constructed and occupied. Neil is responsible for our team that is helping clients put in place a robust digital golden thread of information for all stakeholders to access on built assets.
