Bristol

BSc (Hons), MIOA

Ric leads our delivery of acoustic engineering and air quality services with a strong focus on advice at strategic masterplan level to shape future communities.

As a member of the Institute of Acoustics, Ric has led the delivery of acoustic engineering services on projects across a range of sectors including education, residential, retail, leisure and healthcare.

Ric’s in-depth technical knowledge and solution-based attitude helps clients to achieve planning and quality standards on their projects. His expertise in a range of acoustic specific software allows us to integrate acoustic data into Revit models; the next step to delivering a complete package on BIM projects.

In 2018, Ric commented on the tensions that the 'Agent of Change' principle within the revised NPPF has brought, specifically between nightclubs and proposed new housing developments.

Ric's team has contributed both noise and acoustic studies and modelling on a range of schemes that include the multi-award winning UK Hydrographic Office, The Wave, Victoria House in Manchester, Mersey Reach in Liverpool, and the new, award-winning, Faculty of Engineering and Design at the University of West of England (UWE) campus.
