In the UK and internationally, Sadaf advises FTSE-listed organisations, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and investment portfolio managers on how to achieve their sustainability and decarbonisation goals.

Based in London, Sadaf leads our carbon advisory team in our Smart Energy & Sustainability business, helping clients understand their commitments and the route-map to decarbonisation and net-zero.

With deep experience in data-driven analytics, she helps clients understand the performance of their entire portfolios in real-time. Sadaf translates these insights into detailed, step-by-step decarbonisation roadmaps that show the actions and investments required to meet specific targets.

Sadaf is also experienced at defining and monitoring environmental KPIs for ESG frameworks based on models such as GRESB (Global ESG Benchmark for Real Estate) and TCFD (Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures) and helps clients with implementation for their reporting purposes.

With a degree in Urban Engineering and a Masters in Architecture in Urban Design from UCL, Sadaf has pursued an interest in data science combining her technical knowledge with a technology-led approach to develop cost-effective data-driven applications.

In her career, Sadaf established and led her own business delivering ‘software as a service’ data analytics for smart cities. She has presented to energy ministers in the UK and Middle East, integrated smart city technology for a new urban development in the Middle East and conducted and published research on the subject in collaboration with UCL.

Sadaf has also spoken at conferences such as Digital Construction Week and Zero Carbon on sustainability, design for performance and embodied carbon.
