Hydrock shortlisted for Engineering Consultant of the Year at the Building Awards 2022

15th Sept 2022

We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for Engineering Consultant of the Year at the Building Awards 2022.

Our entry highlighted our work on mould-breaking projects, such as Bay Technology Centre, Wales’s first building that generates more energy than it consumes, and Zeal Hotel, the first truly net-zero hotel.

It also detailed our innovation, such as our work on the Golden Thread, where we are developing a digital approach for the whole supply chain to capture information and respond to the Building Safety Bill.

Not only this, but it highlights the values that run through the very veins of our business and our dedication to be a great place to work for our people.

Graham Munday, Marketing Director, said: “We’re excited to be a finalist in the industry’s leading awards. For us, this shortlisting represents the significant growth of our business and emphasises our place as a leading integrated design, energy and sustainability consultancy.

"Our purpose is driven by being a force for good, for our people, our communities, our planet and society as a whole, so to be shortlisted for Engineering Consultant of the Year is a powerful reminder that we should be proud of our values and the work we do.”
