Roger is an experienced Technical Director in our structural engineering business with a particular focus on heritage buildings and residential schemes.

His exceptional design skills are best applied to the regeneration and specialised refurbishment of heritage and high profile buildings. His track record includes the award-winning transformation of Bristol General Hospital into City and Country's stunning residential apartment scheme, The General. Other notable projects include the Grade I Mills and Bakery Building at the Royal William Yard in Plymouth, and the sensitive refurbishment of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre.

Working within a BIM environment, Roger specialises in the sustainable and sympathetic conversion and transformation of period / historic buildings into residential and mixed used developments.

In 2018, Roger successfully passed the rigorous industry assessments set by ICE and IStructE to be recognised as a Conservation Accredited Engineer. This achievement demonstrates his advanced level of understanding and competency in the application of conservation of historic structures and sites within the construction process.
