We have a brand-new opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP division based in our Birmingham office. 

Working collaboratively, you will be you will be joining a fun, highly engaged team who love what they do. Our team have a wealth of experience and will offer support, development opportunities and expert advice. 

Your role will include: 

You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient delivery of projects from conception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered to a ‘right first-time approach’ and that quality management procedures are followed. Other responsibilities include: 

  • Using Revit and 3D BIM modelling software in design production. 
  • Working to current building regulations including gas & water. 
  • Apply and develop your knowledge of renewables. 
  • Participate in design team, client meetings and site visits.

Our MEP team are specialists in energy, sustainability, and engineering design. We bring buildings to life and create award winning, high-performance environments that enhance the built environment – working across all sectors including commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage and residential.

  • Building performance modelling 
  • Building performance optimisation 
  • Carbon verification and validation strategies 
  • Daylight and sunlight studies 
  • Net-Zero strategy 
  • Sustainability benchmarking and environmental assessments 
  • Sustainable master planning 
  • Strategic utility management services

To succeed in this role, you’ll need: 

  • Degree and/or Masters qualified (or equivalent) within mechanical engineering or building services engineering.
  • Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer, contributing to design projects and experience working on a range of building services projects in the UK. 
  • Knowledge of BIM processes, Revit, IES and other design software.
