Final line-up confirmed for our Birmingham 'WELL Worth It?' event

14th Aug 2019

We are delighted to confirm the final line-up of speakers and panellists from across the Midlands for our next ‘WELL Worth It?’ thought leadership event in Birmingham, hosted on 11th September 2019.

The seminar and panel debate explores the commercial value of investing in wellbeing in buildings.

We will be joined by Anna Parker, Founding Director of Intervention Architecture; Professor Kathryn Moore, of the Birmingham School of Architecture and Design at Birmingham City University; and Jo Lancashire, Design Manager at Estilo Interiors. All three guests will talk about the impact of placing wellbeing at the centre of design, from major infrastructure to the revival of existing structures and the retrospective fit out of modern workplaces.

Leading the event will be Chris Bowie-Hill from Hydrock's Building Performance Engineering business. Following the success of Hydrock's inaugural 'WELL Worth It?' event in Bristol, Chris has taken his eye-opening presentation about the commercial value that can be gained through the investment in wellbeing to audiences all over the UK. Chris demonstrates the links between elements such as light, acoustics and air quality with productivity, recovery rates, and retention levels in schools and offices.
