In a perfect fit for our focus on health and wellbeing, Hydrock has decided to support mental health charity, Mind, this year.
Following an annual Hydrock tradition, CEO Brian McConnell invited employees to offer their suggestions as to which charity the company should support for the next year.
An overwhelming amount of support for Mind, along with many heart-felt personal recommendations, secured the charity as the clear choice.
The charity does excellent work to provide support and advice for anyone experiencing mental health issues, along with resources and campaigns to end stigma and promote understanding around mental health.
In line with Hydrock’s award-winning focus on the wellbeing of staff, in January 2019 Mind delivered training to our 23 Wellbeing Champions from offices across the country.
Mind will be our corporate charity for the next year, until April 2020. Hydrock will also match funds raised by staff up to a total of £10,000.
CEO Brian McConnell said, “We are so pleased to be supporting Mind this year. Mental health issues can affect anyone, and Mind does vital work to provide practical advice and raise awareness. We look forward to continuing our charity work in the name of Mind this year, which is an appropriate fit for Hydrock’s long term focus on health and wellbeing.”
