Experienced MEP director joins Hydrock

Anuran Wickramasinghe FCIBSE, an MEP project director with over 30 years’ experience on both UK and international projects has joined Hydrock’s Building Performance Engineering team as a Technical Director.

Anuran joins the company’s rapidly growing Building Performance Engineering team to provide both technical insight on project delivery and to further support the growth of this key business division.

Anuran was previously with Aurecon where he was the MEP lead on the Lusail Stadium, an 80,000 seat stadium which will host the opening ceremony and key fixtures in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Prior to this he was a Regional Director in Qatar and a Board Director in London for Atelier Ten where his work included being MEP and Sustainability Project Director for Msheireb Downtown Doha Phase 3. Anuran has also worked for WSP where his track record included being M&E Project Director on the 43-storey Strata residential development in Elephant and Castle, London, and the £50m Great Ormond Street Hospital redevelopment programme.
