Hydrock celebrates seventh consecutive year in UK’s 100 Best Large Companies to Work For

Hydrock is celebrating its seventh consecutive year in the UK’s 100 Best Large Companies To Work For listing.
The annual Best Companies ranking is widely acknowledged as the most rigorous and extensive research into employee engagement in the UK. All the scores and ratings that are assessed to compile the lists are based solely on employee opinions.
Hydrock has taken part in the listings for the last seven years, as part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring our staff – whether they’ve been with us for 25 years or two weeks – have the best possible experience at Hydrock.
Commenting on Friday’s announcement that Hydrock placed 83rd overall, Dr Brian McConnell, Hydrock’s CEO, said: “We’re enormously proud of this achievement given how challenging the past year has been for everyone. The wellbeing of our staff has always been at the heart of our culture, and this year has been no different. We’ve found new ways to stay connected remotely, and rewarded our staff for their hard work, despite the challenges of the pandemic.
Given the ranking is based entirely on staff responses, we’re especially proud to have made our seventh consecutive year inside the Best Companies top 100.”
The citation on Hydrock by Best Companies states that 87% of staff feel their manager talks openly and honestly with them, 82% of staff agreed that their job is good for their own personal growth and 87% of staff agreed that their team is fun to work with.
