Hydrock named Consultancy of the Year at Insider North West Property awards

Hydrock is delighted to have been awarded ‘Consultancy of the Year’ at the Insider North West Property Awards 2023.
Celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary, more than 1,000 people turned out to celebrate the very best of the property industry at Manchester Central.
Danny Hope, Hydrock’s regional director in the north west, said:
“Winning 'Consultancy of the Year' for the first time affirms our position in the region. We’ve an incredibly strong multi-disciplinary engineering, energy and sustainability team who have had an impact on designing inclusive, climate resilient and sustainable development, playing an integral role in huge regeneration schemes such as Middlewood Locks and Wirral Waters. Our journey is only just beginning and we look forward to going from strength-to-strength and continuing to deliver projects that benefit people and the planet.”
We opened our office in Manchester city centre eight years ago and our team in the north west has grown from one to 95 employees, making an enormous impact on the region in that time. United by our vision to be a force for good.
As an integrated engineering, energy and sustainability consultancy, we have a strong role to play in being change agents in addressing the global challenge of climate change.
Our recognition comes as a result of the sustainability-driven advisory we’ve been delivering across strategically important sites right across the north west, working alongside some fantastic project partners.
These include supporting a pioneering active travel project in Merseyside, helping to bring forward a coherent development framework for a proposed future advanced manufacturing community in Greater Manchester, and advising a higher education provider on its estate-wide decarbonisation plan in Cumbria.
