We’re celebrating – three of our projects won awards last week at the Construction News Awards and the LABC Excellence in West of England region awards.
One of our flagship multi-disciplinary projects, the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) headquarters has been awarded the prestigious Construction News ‘Project of the Year £20m-£50m’. We delivered our civil, structural, M&E, acoustics, fire and transport engineering services alongside our project partners, AHR, BAM Construct and Mace to deliver this stunning headquarters building for the UKHO in Taunton.
Great Western Academy won Best Educational Building in the LABC Excellence in West of England region awards. We delivered a full range of building services design and the civil and structural engineering design on this £21m educational facility in Swindon, with BAM Construction and Scott Brownrigg.
South Bristol’s Picture House Court also had a good night at the region’s LABC awards, winning Best High Volume New Housing Development. This innovative residential development was an achievement for our civil and structural engineering teams, who worked closely with Urbis Living, Origin3 Architects and Speller Metcalfe to deliver it.
Both projects will now go forward to the national LABC finals later this year.
