Hydrock wins RoSPA Gold Medal and multiple Gold awards for fifth consecutive year

Hydrock has won a prestigious Gold Medal award for its continued outstanding approach to health and safety from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), as well as four further awards for the company’s divisions.

The RoSPA Gold Medal has been awarded to Hydrock Contracting for achieving Gold award status for five years running, endorsing its unrelenting commitment to health and safety throughout the business.

In addition to this, we have won four gold awards. Two relate to major land remediation projects undertaken by our Contracting business: decontamination of an asbestos-impacted site at Camley Street, London; and works at Stoney Lane South, Christchurch where we carried out ground investigation and remediation of a former gasworks site.

Hydrock’s geo-technical and geo-environmental business has been recognised with a Gold award for the second year running, and Hydrock Consultants has achieved its first.

Hydrock’s Health and Safety Director, Jon Rayner, said: “This is another fantastic achievement and these awards, like those before them, represent a benchmark of the annual effort, performance and commitment of the entire company towards health and safety at all times.”

As multiple award winners, representatives from Hydrock have been invited to attend a Royal Garden Party to celebrate RoSPA’s centenary. The event at Buckingham Palace in May will be hosted by the Queen who is the charity’s patron.
