Hydrock wins two gold medals at the 2021 ROSPA awards

2nd Jul 2021

Hydrock is delighted to be recognised for its continued best practice in health and safety by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), this year taking home Gold Medal awards in recognition of achieving over five consecutive years at Gold standard.

As a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, Hydrock has achieved a Gold Medal for the first time following five consecutive years of Gold awards.

Our geo-environmental and geotechnical division also won their second Gold Medal, recognising six years of consecutive Gold Awards.

In addition to these, our long-running and complex project for the Environment Agency at Helpston, Peterborough has been recognised with its third consecutive Gold award. Hydrock has been providing a range of site investigation and geo-environmental services to the Environment Agency on a large-scale land and groundwater remediation scheme in order to protect public water supplies for 11 years.

Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running Health and Safety industry awards.

Hydrock’s Health and Safety Manager, Rob Narbett, said: “It’s a huge achievement for Hydrock to win our first gold medal as a consultancy and for our geo team to get their second. To be consistently recognised in this way by RoSPA is a testament to Hydrock’s commitment to health and safety, and the dedication of our staff when on-site.”
