Short-listed for major industry award

17th Mar 2017

Hydrock has been short-listed for Construction Consultancy of the Year in the industry-leading Construction News Awards.

This year the Construction News Awards are celebrating 21 years of recognising the very best of the UK engineering and construction industry.

Construction News editor Tom Fitzpatrick said: “This year’s Construction News Awards shortlist showcases the best that UK construction has to offer, both for the economy and for communities across the UK and internationally.

“In uncertain economic times ahead of Brexit, construction businesses are getting on with keeping the UK moving. They are building the infrastructure, homes and workplaces this country desperately needs and we’re proud to recognise those companies striving to create an ever more productive, diverse and talented industry.”

Speaking about our short-listing, Brian McConnell, Hydrock’s Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to be short-listed in these industry-leading awards in such a high-profile category. It is testament to the quality, ethos and commitment of our staff that our approach, our work and our culture has been recognised in this way.”

Before the awards, all finalists will attend face-to-face judging by members of the 60-strong jury, made up of the most influential clients and experts in the UK, including senior representatives from Hammerson, Sainsbury’s, Sellar Property Group, Manchester Airport and London Underground.

The winners will be announced on 13 July 2017 at a glamorous ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, where over 1,400 of the industry’s elite will join together for a night of entertainment, celebration and networking.
