Hydrock has been appointed by Burrington Estates to provide full multi-disciplinary services for the redevelopment of Winslade Park manor house estate, near Clyst St Mary, Exeter.
Led by our Strategic Projects team, we are providing multi-disciplinary engineering services, including M&E, civils and structures, air quality, acoustics, transport, utilities, flood risk, smart energy and sustainability and fire safety.
The £45m redevelopment, project managed by Coreus Group, will see the estate’s 35 hectares of parkland and historic Grade 2* listed manor house transformed to provide premium offices, homes and leisure facilities with a strong emphasis on wellness and community.
The new on-site facilities will include fitness studios, a swimming pool, sports pavilion, sports pitches, high-end personal coaching studio, cafes, bars and retail space.
The project is split into various zones for planning and phased development purposes, and we have supported all zones up to planning. We are currently supporting the wider project team with M&E and civil and structural engineering up to RIBA Stage 4 on the Manor House renovation.
