Hydrock helping to regenerate Bristol's historic harbourside

11th Aug 2014
Hydrock has secured a multi-disciplinary appointment to an exciting £40m regeneration project in the Bristol Harbourside region.

Our teams will be providing structural, civil and geotechnical engineering services for the prestigious Wapping Wharf development behind Bristol’s floating harbour.

The project includes six-storey apartment blocks, retail and commercial office space at ground and undercroft level, as well as the conversion of the Grade II listed JS Fry warehouse into office accommodation.

The Umberslade Developments scheme is part of the major regeneration of the Bristol Harbourside, an area of great historical significance. It will feature a network of streets forming an urban village, shops, restaurants, underground parking and be pedestrian friendly.

We are currently working up planning submission documents along with Alec French Architects and project manager Touchstone Ltd and it is hoped work on site will start in early 2015.
